Advanced Higher Projects
A school contacted us recently about a CSYS Investigation package we published in 1994! Apparently they had copies of several pages and wondered if we could supply the rest. It seemed a tall order as personal computers were in their infancy at that time but Bob found the file and wrestled it into WORD. So the school got their wish.
The package consists of 12 investigations. Each has a couple of pages of Pupil Starter to set the scene and suggest how to generate results. Sample size, replicates, controls and statistical analysis are stressed for each. The two page Teacher’s Guide gives more detail and some results obtained by our own pupils at that time. The material is still relevant for AH today. The package has been updated to allow for some changes in the intervening years.
